Following the tradition of the first Congress in 1908, IFHE World Congresses are held every four years and offer an exciting opportunity to discuss current global issues through research, best practice and and emerging trends.
World Congresses have been held in all continents and attract approximately 1,000 professionals and students from around the globe. They are successfully organised by IFHE members from the host country on a voluntary basis. Click here for an overview on all World Congresses since 1908.
The IFHE World Congress is a source of inspiration to home economists around the globe. The programme includes a pre-Congress for educators, plenary speakers, research presentations, exhibits, opening and closing ceremonies, a welcome dinner, home visits, and a banquet. New at this Congress is the Learning Day on the Move, which incorporates educational and technical excursions in and around Atlanta, including the University of Georgia-Athens. Find all details at the XXIV World Congress website.
