Ten articles about Home Economics curriculum, research and practice, and related aspects, feature in the latest Special issue of the Malta Review of Educational Research (MRER).
With an Introduction by lead editor Prof Suzanne Piscopo and Editorial by co-editor Dr Karen Mugliett this series of peer-reviewed articles cover topics such as nutrition, lifeskills and sustainability knowledge and education; Home Economics in schools and in the community; teacher training; household food consumption and expenditure; childhood culinary skills and impact on dietary habits; programme planning and evaluation; and gender issues and curriculum history. The articles spotlight the Mediterranean region with authors hailing from Malta, Morocco, Egypt, and Slovenia.
