The IFHE Delevopment Fund supports home economists around the world. Every four years, thanks to the donations raised by our US-based IFHE affiliate, we are able to award small competitive grants that support research, educational programmes and studies.
Submission for applications to the Grant Cycle 2024 - 2028 is now open. Please follow the IFHE Development Fund Proposal Application Guidelines and download the IFHE Development Fund Application Form to submit your application. Deadline for applications is October 15th, 2023.
The Institute of Himalayan Environmental Research and Education (INHERE) focuses on enabling livelihoods, improving nutrition, and empowering women in villages in Uttarakhand, India through micro solar hatchery enterprises. The second grant winner, the College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar, Pakistan implements a project on the relation between societal discrimination, parental functioning and child psychosocial well-being” in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa District.
