The Region of Americas (RoA) comprises multiple countries, including Brazil, Canada, the United States of America, and those across the Caribbean. RoA members actively support the work of IFHE by attending IFHE Annual meetings, Council, and Congresses, and serve on various task forces and committees that guide the Federation. The RoA is dedicated to further developing relationships with colleagues from other countries across the region.

The RoA is growing in its ability to serve and engage members in the work of the Federation. With regular bi-monthly planning meetings, the Region delivers professional development for Home Economics professionals, developing unified messaging that supports Home Economics in primary, secondary, tertiary, and community education. Governed at the national levels, the RoA promotes the work and activities organized by these organizations. Some important events include:

• Canadian Symposium on Home Economics Education (odd years)
• Caribbean Association of Home Economists, Inc., Biennial Conference (odd years)
• IFHE-US bi-annual webinars
• IFHE-US led IFHE Development Fund Project Grants
• IFHE-US Sharon McManus Cultural Event (held in tandem with the AAFCS National Conference)
