Through its consultative status, IFHE has the right to submit statements to UN commissions and to participate in high-level panels.

Whenever UN priority themes relate to home economics, we exercise this right and offer our perspective, often in partnership with other NGOs. With predominantly women being responsible for household resources, our interventions often address topics from a female perspective.
