Home Economics in the 21st century draws its strength from

  • the capacity to take transformative action to enhance wellbeing.

It advances a sustainable future through research (creating new knowledge and ways of thinking), practice (fostering human growth and fulfilling basic needs), education (teaching students to develop their own resources) and advocacy.
