Membership & Office Management

 

We offer an interesting job opportunity in the area of Membership & Office Management. We are looking for a person with solid office management and software skills who is confident to cater to both, membership needs and administrative requirements. Our ideal colleague not only enjoys efficiently keeping the office up and running but also likes to venture into unknown fields to help establish a digital office organisation.

Your specific responsibilities & tasks

  • Communication with members and external partners
  • Management & improvement (in coordination with an agency) of the Membership Database
  • Updating and customizing the IFHE Website with Typo3 to improve organisational visibility
  • Preparing invoices and entering financial data into the bookkeeping software (Lexware).
  • Contributing to publication layout and content
  • Supporting the organisation of international (including online) meetings
  • Maintaining office documentation

Minimum Requirements

The IFHE management team is internationally dispersed with only a few persons working in Bonn. Even though being a small INGO, we expect you to solidly perform and fulfil the following minimum requirements:  

  • Sound English language skills (written/oral) and German working knowledge (oral)
  • Confident and efficient use of all Microsoft Office 365 products
  • Ability to quickly master new programmes (Typo3, Lexware, database) & high affinity towards digital formats
  • Proactive work attitude and passion for outstanding & efficient member support

We offer a 10hrs/week contract with the duty station being the IFHE Office Bonn (other allocation of working time & place possible upon approval). Remuneration for this 25% position is based on TVÖD E9 and amounts to 850 EURO/month. The initial contract is issued for 2 years with an option to be extended.
