About 1100 Individuals and 100 Organisations in more than 50 countries all over the world are organised in the IFHE.

The Council consists of member representatives (delegates) and the Executive Committee. It is responsible for defining the working programme of IFHE.

The Executive Committee (EC) is responsible for implementing the working programme. The EC meets once a year.

The General Secretariat deals with the administration and organisation of IFHE. It is located in Bonn, Germany.

All members are invited to participate in Programme Committees and  Council Committees.
