IFHE PhD Student launched the Research Project “HomeEcConnect”
This study will investigate relationships between and effects on student spiritual health and well-being through participation in locally determined sustainability education projects and a global citizenship initiative. Specifically, the context of Home Economics will be the platform for this investigation. The aim of this study is to generate new theory regarding connections and relationships between these main concepts. Grounded theory using a mixed method design incorporating discourse analysis techniques and a survey instrument will serve as the methodological paradigm.

Calling for Papers Submission – OIKOS Journal
The editors of OIKOS, Brazilian Association of Home Economics Journal, which publish subjects of home economics issues, from 1981, bi-annual, ISSN 0101 5273, with the highest mark (A) by the Brazilian Research Council (CNPq), are calling for papers for next publication. Please submit your manuscripts online.
The journal features original and applied research; and integrative theoretical articles related to important issues in home economics. The manuscripts may be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish or English.
