YPN Activities at the XXI. IFHE World Congress in Lucerne/Switzerland

Young Professionals as the future generation of Home Economists
have been present at various events at and around the XXI. World
Home Economics Congress in Lucerne/Switzerland. In the run-up to
the congress the group of German young professionals organised a
pre-congress-tour including a workshop on the future work of the
IFHE Young Professional Network (YPN). Networking and professional
exchange constitute a central issue of meetings such as the world
congress. The pre-congress-tour displays an excellent example of an
initial event to become acquainted with the IFHE and other young
members of the federation. The pre-congress-tour offered the possibility
to get to know young home economists from all over the world:
40 participants from 10 different countries participated.
